Electrical & PCB Design

From first schematic to production-ready Gerber package. We design mixed-signal, high-speed digital, RF, and power electronics for products that ship.

Populated circuit board designed by Grinalds Solutions

Boards fail at the seams: the switcher that pollutes the ADC reference, the impedance neck-down nobody noticed at a connector, the part that goes end-of-life mid-production-run. Good PCB design is mostly about finding those seams on the screen instead of on the bench.

We have designed boards across audio, defense, medical, IoT, and consumer electronics, from 2-layer sensor boards to dense multi-layer mixed-signal designs where the analog section has to hold its noise floor next to a switching supply and a live network interface.

We work in standard EDA tools and deliver a design package your contract manufacturer can build from without calling you: Gerbers, fab and assembly drawings, a sourced BOM, and the notes that answer the questions before they get asked.

Deliverables

  • Schematic capture (Altium, KiCad, or Eagle)
  • Multi-layer PCB layout & routing
  • Signal integrity analysis
  • Power delivery network design
  • EMI/EMC design practice
  • BOM creation and component sourcing review
  • DFM / DFA review
  • Gerber/ODB++ production package
  • UL listing BOM verification (if required)

Common Starting Points

  • No electrical engineer on staff, and a board that needs one
  • A mixed-signal or RF layout beyond the team's comfort zone
  • A design that failed its first spin and needs a diagnosis
  • A dev-kit prototype that has to become a production PCB
  • A working product with a BOM problem: cost, sourcing, or EOL parts
